TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Interventional Radiology RN in Towson, Maryland, 21204!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI Must-Have: IR experience required Description: Local candidates accepted at a reduced travel rate. Contract is for 8 weeks with 4 ten-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. On-call duty required for one weeknight per week from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Thursday. Weekend on-call coverage required every 6th weekend from 5:00 PM Friday to 6:00 AM Monday. 24-hour holiday call coverage may be required as needed. Block scheduling cannot be accommodated. Special scheduling requests should be submitted with the time-off request at the time of application submission. Emergency medication administration and pre-procedure time-out are essential responsibilities. Candidates should be comfortable floating within their scope without restrictions or special requests. Nursing interventions include, but are not limited to, central line insertion/management, blood product administration, and procedural sedation administration/monitoring. Knowledge of various procedures such as angioplasty, ERCP, and biopsy procedures is required. Candidates will be responsible for patient assessments and monitoring during procedures. Collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams is essential for effective patient care. Knowledge of charting systems, specifically Epic, is required. Previous charge experience is preferred.
