Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator for our 2nd shift. The position involves basic machine operation and requires the ability to safely move large steel pieces using a hoist. The ideal candidate should have solid basic math skills and experience using a tape measure and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery efficiently and safely.
• Move large steel pieces using a hoist.
• Perform basic math calculations for machine operations.
• Use tape measures and calipers to ensure quality checks.
• Work comfortably in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of machine operating experience.
• Proficiency in using calipers and tape measures.
• Strong basic math skills, including converting fractions to decimals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with assembly and blueprint reading is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a manufacturing setting with two available shifts: 1st Shift - Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and 2nd Shift - Monday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., which includes a $0.75 shift differential. Training may occur on a split shift during the first 90 days.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winona, MN.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Winona,MN.
