This team is critical to achieving success in opportunities with sophisticated and highly technical observability teams who empower engineering organizations that drive and disrupt their respective industries.You willBuild, manage and enable high performing Sales Engineers/Domain Consultants to ensure the success of the businessFacilitate the definition and standardization of best practices for the functionStrategically grow and develop your team as individuals and as a wholeManage team workload and opportunity priorities to ensure successful delivery of technical pilotsBalance short- and long-term collaborative initiatives across sales, marketing, engineering, product and peopleProvide pre-sales support for all sales activities as a player/coach.Help build account strategies and execution plans to exceed revenue targetsSupport your team and customers through complex evaluations that lead to positive outcomesQualificationsYou have5+ years of experience managing successful pre-sales technical teamsPrevious success hiring and onboarding high performing SEsStrong understanding of SaaS sales with a technical buyerDemonstrated success thriving in undefined environments and situationsTechnical credibility including the ability to technically review and push the account team specific to the opportunity's sales stageAn analytical approach to co-ownership of sales executionStrong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to rapidly shifting priorities in a fast paced, dynamic work environmentKnowledge of the monitoring and observability spaceExperience selling to a cloud native engineering organizationsAbility to tap a broad and deep network for recruitingCompensation DisclosureThe compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
