Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years preferred License: State or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS Must-Have: - Travel experience - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience of 1:6 Description: This position requires three 12-hour day shifts. The unit cares for patients from young adults to geriatrics. It specializes in cardiac care and recovery from cardiac interventions. Priority is given to patients requiring medical cardiac care and those recovering from interventions such as surgery, stent placement, and pacemaker implants. The unit admits hemodynamically stable non-procedural cardiac patients. The patient ratio is typically 1 nurse for every 6 patients. Skills required include telemetry, IV management, and post-cardiac care. Additional duties involve the interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of various lines and protocols. Team collaboration with interdisciplinary support is essential in this role. The daily census averages 36 patients, and the facility has 36 private rooms. Candidates must meet compliance rules and onboarding requirements.
