Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool

Role Overview As a Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care across various inpatient departments, including Medical/Surgical, Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, and ICU. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, monitor patient conditions, and educate patients and families. Your responsibilities include documentation, participating in rounds, delegating tasks, and supporting a culture of safety and quality improvement. Qualifications & Skills Candidates must have an active NYS RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred), and certifications such as BLS, with additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, and stroke education depending on the department. Essential skills include strong clinical judgment, effective communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
