Responsibilities Understand Orkin’s termite protection services and make strategic recommendations to customers. Perform 360 inspections from attics to crawl spaces and everything in between, solve problems, and build trusted relationships ensuring homes and families are protected. Listen to customers’ needs, clearly explain practical solutions, and win them over with confidence and care. Serve as a problem solver for customers by utilizing in‑depth training to decide on the best pest solution for each customer’s needs. Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads; you have a robust advertising budget to provide leads. Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers at their homes to explain Orkin’s products and services. Inspect interior and exterior of the customer’s home. Make recommendations to customers based on inspection and identified issues, addressing questions, explaining the process, and setting expectations. Stay organized and prepare sales agreements using a company‑provided iPad; training will be provided. Benefits Competitive earnings and a company vehicle with gas card. Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid). Ability to work in the field independently and interact with customers. Qualified applicants considered in compliance with applicable state and local laws. Physical Requirements Safely use a ladder within its weight capacity. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and sometimes an OSHA‑compliant respirator. Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
