Job Details Type: Travel RN Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Location: Madison, WI 53792 Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts Hours per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070 - $2,180 Schedule: Day and night rotations with every other weekend coverage and holidays as needed Setting: Adult med/surg telemetry with a geriatric patient population Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience in the specialty within the last 3 years Prior experience starting IVs required BLS certification from AHA required Epic charting experience required Successful completion of a telemetry exam prior to start Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and float as needed Comfort working with adult, med/surg, and geriatric patient populations Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult telemetry and med/surg patients Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry changes Start and maintain IV access and support common med/surg interventions Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support safe, efficient patient care Care for patients with a wide variety of conditions and diagnoses under family medicine services Support care for Department of Corrections patients as needed, following safety protocols and escorted procedures Float to other units as required to meet patient care needs Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold excellent clinical standards Apply now to join this Madison, WI travel nursing opportunity and advance your Med/Surg Telemetry RN career today.
