Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and treating various acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (based on your credentials)
• Instructing patients and their families on preventive care, wellness, and effective disease management

Educational Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days)
