Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for a diverse patient population, adapting techniques as necessary.
• Provide hands-on physical therapy for an average of 7 patients per day , employing evidence-based practices to facilitate recovery.
• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, modalities, and exercise prescriptions, to support patient progress.
• Monitor patient improvements and adjust treatment plans as needed to maximize outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and progress meticulously, maintaining adherence to legal and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Guide patients through their rehabilitation journey, educating them about their conditions and encouraging active participation in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation center primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse patient demographic, including athletes, post-operative patients, and individuals seeking to regain function after injuries. Qualifications

• A current New York Physical Therapy License is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, a Master's or Doctorate in the field is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
