Work Environment

This onsite position is based in our modern rehabilitation center designed to facilitate optimal patient interactions and recovery processes. Our facility is equipped with cutting-edge rehabilitation technology and resources, creating a conducive atmosphere for clinical excellence. The workweek spans Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments for patients, taking into account their unique needs and medical histories to create tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based practices, including manual therapy techniques and structured exercise programs, to enhance patient mobility, strength, and overall functional capacity.
• Engage patients in educational sessions regarding injury prevention strategies, rehabilitation processes, and long-term health maintenance to empower self-management.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed based on clinical evaluations and direct patient feedback, ensuring that care remains patient-centered.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, including referring patients to other specialists when necessary.
• Participate in regular team meetings and continuing education opportunities to stay updated on best practices and innovations in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation center serves a diverse population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, stroke rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Each therapist at In It Together Physical Therapy is trained to adapt their therapeutic techniques to meet the varying needs of these patients, ensuring a personalized approach that drives successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field. Candidates with a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy will be prioritized.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New York.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt treatment strategies effectively.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Previous experience with diverse patient populations and varied rehabilitation techniques is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

In It Together Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
