In this full-time, onsite role, you will work directly with clients in an outpatient clinic setting. Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our facility, you will collaborate with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals. The working hours are Monday to Friday, with two potential shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized treatment to clients, focusing on their specific rehabilitation goals and unique needs.
• Manage a balanced patient load to ensure each individual receives the critical attention they require during therapy sessions.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to create tailored evidence-based interventions.
• Employ a variety of cost-effective treatments, emphasizing non-surgical approaches to minimize medication use.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that might include various manual therapy techniques, exercise regimens, and therapeutic modalities.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their recovery, fostering an environment conducive to healing and resilience.
• Regularly assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Keep thorough and accurate records of patient care and services provided, utilizing EMR software, specifically WebPT, for precise documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals undergoing post-operative rehabilitation, and patients seeking relief for chronic pain conditions. The clinic emphasizes a holistic approach, prioritizing the physical aspects of recovery while also considering emotional and psychological well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New York, with a clean history free of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong mastery of various manual therapy techniques and a demonstrable ability to create and implement successful individualized exercise programs.
• Competence in using EMR software effectively to maintain accurate documentation.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current physical therapy practices, supported by research and continuing education.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings with a focus on sports medicine or orthopedics.
• Familiarity with diverse treatment modalities and rehabilitation technologies.
• Ongoing participation in professional development and relevant training workshops.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and continuing education reimbursement.
