Field Sales Manager

Job Description
The Field Sales Manager will lead and oversee a regional team of route salespeople specializing in selling detail supplies to car dealerships and detail shops across Michigan, northern Indiana, and Ohio. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in remote sales management within the automotive dealership sector and demonstrates a proven track record of driving sales growth. This role requires frequent travel and a competitive personality accustomed to achieving winning results, reporting directly to the Sales Director.

Responsibilities
Manage and lead a medium-sized sales team (6-8 members) to achieve sales targets
Coordinate sales routes and territories within assigned states
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
Drive sales growth through strategic market analysis and customer engagement
Provide training, support, and performance feedback to sales staff
Track team performance and prepare regular sales reports
Leverage deep knowledge of the auto industry to tailor sales strategies
Travel frequently within Michigan, northern Indiana, and Ohio to support field operations

Preferred Qualifications
Seven or more years of experience in sales management
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
