G & G Utility Construction is expanding and seeking motivated, safety‐focused individuals who enjoy working outdoors and contributing to the infrastructure that keeps communities powered. This is a hands‐on, full‐time position with opportunities for overtime and skill development.
Pay & Schedule
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience + overtime
- Weekly direct deposit
- Full-time, permanent position
- Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–5:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
- Optional overtime available
- Occasional overnight travel required
- Minimum age: 18
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test (federal guidelines – no marijuana)
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare construction sites
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Follow supervisor instructions and execute construction plans
- Assist skilled tradespeople
- Operate and tend machinery and heavy equipment
- Build, erect, and align forms for concrete structures and foundations
- Install, maintain, and repair equipment essential to the electrical grid
- Install/remove electrical and telecommunications equipment, conduit, wire/cable (including fiber optic), concrete foundations, and steel structures
- Identify utility lines
- Secure tools and equipment and clean the job site daily
- Work safely and follow all safety protocols
- Work in all weather conditions
- Demonstrate basic construction knowledge and willingness to learn
Construction experience is preferred but not required.

- Ability to commute or relocate to Lexington, KY 40509 before starting work
