We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Vandalia Healthcare & Senior Living. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential and commercial spaces while providing excellent customer service. The Housekeeper helps create a welcoming environment for clients and guests.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
• Manage housekeeping responsibilities to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
• Launder linens, towels, and other items as needed, adhering to proper laundry procedures and protocols.
• Conduct floor care including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning, ensuring a safe and clean environment for clients and guests.
• Provide responsive and friendly customer service, addressing client needs and concerns with a positive and professional demeanor.
• Follow safety protocols when using cleaning chemicals and equipment, prioritizing safety and well-being.

Skills

• Experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred, with a strong understanding of housekeeping management practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a team, with excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods, with knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and sanitation practices.
• Experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is helpful but not required, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
