About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse – Tennessee**Start Date:** October 19, 2026 **Location:** Hermitage, Tennessee **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend requirement**Highlights:** - Progressive Care Unit with 34-bed and 25-bed units serving complex patient populations- Patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5 on day shift and 1:5 to 1:6 on night shift with dedicated tech support- Equipment and treatments include BiPAPs, high flow oxygen, Vapotherm, cardiac drips, insulin drips, heparin drips, peritoneal dialysis, and wound vacs- Meditech documentation system with unit self-scheduling model on 4-week schedule blocks- Float opportunities between PCU units or to medical-surgical floors as needed- Supportive team culture with high contract extension rates and collaborative care environment**Requirements:** - Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state eligibility- BLS and ACLS certification required- Critical thinking skills and EKG rhythm interpretation experience- Demonstrated experience with cardiac drips, insulin drips, and heparin drips- Peripheral IV skills required- Experience with BiPAPs, high flow oxygen systems, stroke care, and post-cardiac catheterization care- Peritoneal dialysis experience preferred- Experience with tube feedings, NG/Dobhoff tubes, chest tubes, and wound vac troubleshooting**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** Join a progressive care team known for its "care like family" culture and exceptional teamwork.
