Join our team and become our new part-time NILES TV ASSISTANT. Reporting to the Communications and Multimedia Coordinator, the Niles TV Assistant is primarily responsible for operating camera control and switcher equipment to broadcast and record Village Board meetings on the Village’s cable channel, along with editing video projects. This role also supports a variety of multimedia and communication projects as needed. Qualifications Possess a high school diploma or equivalent; college coursework is preferred. Bring experience working with live broadcast television (preferred). Demonstrate a basic knowledge of videography and composition. Operate Adobe Premiere or similar non-linear editing software proficiently. Handle a variety of audio-visual equipment, including frequently lifting and moving items weighing up to 25 pounds. Have prior experience using a website content management system (preferred). Hold a valid Illinois Driver’s License. Benefits $18.89-$24.65 per hour, depending on qualifications.
