YOUR IMPACT

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will work on a team that manages our hypervisors, virtual machines, and the applications that run on them. We maintain the servers and are responsible for all maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting when something fails. An ideal candidates have 10+ years of Linux server experience in an enterprise environment, a background working with Postfix mail servers, VMWare experience, automation through Ansible a plus. On-call rotation will be required for 24x7x365 support of production environments.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

• Manage VMware and Cockpit-based hypervisors along with Linux server VMs.
• Troubleshoot SMTP, TLS, and email server issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot F5 load balancers and iRules.
• Utilize anti-spam technologies including SPF and IP warming.
• Support Development in deploying new services and applications.
• Ensure system security through updates, patching, user management, remediation, and environment upgrades.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Highly detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously.
• 10+ years of Linux server management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise deployments using tools such as Octopus and Ansible.
• Expertise in DNS, MTA, SMTP, TLS, load balancing, networking, virtualization, cybersecurity, Red Hat, AWS, and MySQL/MariaDB.
• Proven experience maintaining PCI compliant environments.

Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. Salary Range: $108,300- $162,500; Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
