Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary Provide diagnostic imaging services using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment. Monitor patients to ensure their safety and comfort during MRI procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform MRI scans according to physician's orders and established protocols. Position patients and equipment for optimal imaging. Administer contrast agents as needed and observe for adverse reactions. Monitor patients' vital signs and status during scans. Ensure the quality and integrity of MRI images. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Adhere to safety protocols, including MRI safety guidelines for patients and staff. Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot as necessary. Schedule / Shift Monday - Thursday, 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM Required Qualifications Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program. Successful completion of an MRI training program. Certifications MRI certification ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) ARMIRT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists) Experience Experience performing MRI procedures. Skills Proficient in operating MRI equipment. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Excellent patient care and communication skills. Ability to manage patients in an MRI environment. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
