Accounts Payable Specialist | $22-25/ hr | Onsite | 1-2 month Contract | Des Moines, IA

What You’ll Do:

• Process and verify expense and inventory invoices for accuracy and completeness
• Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve invoice and payment issues
• Support improvements to accounts payable processes while ensuring compliance with company policies

Qualifications:

• Previous accounts payable, accounting clerk, or related finance experience OR a 2-year Accounting degree
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
