Social Commerce Strategist (TikTok Shop & Affiliate)

Our partner is looking for a Social Commerce Strategist (TikTok Shop & Affiliate) based in United States. This role leads social commerce and affiliate initiatives across TikTok, Meta, and other commerce ecosystems. You’ll develop strategies designed to increase revenue, strengthen partnerships, and improve campaign performance. The position combines hands-on affiliate management, social shop optimization, analytics, and client strategy. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to translate performance data into actionable recommendations. The role also involves staying ahead of platform changes, creator trends, algorithms, and emerging commerce opportunities. AI-enabled tools and internal technology will support faster, more informed workflows and optimization. This is a fully flexible role suited to an autonomous, analytical, and commercially minded social commerce professional. Accountabilities - Develop and execute TikTok Shop affiliate and social ambassador strategies aligned with client objectives, with a focus on partnership growth and revenue generation. - Conduct daily affiliate outreach through TikTok Shop tools and manage affiliate communications and community channels to build mutually beneficial relationships. - Manage and optimize social commerce initiatives across TikTok and Meta, including social shop setup, ongoing optimization, conversion improvement, and revenue growth. - Monitor key performance indicators such as GMV, response rates, program growth, profitability, and forecast performance, translating data into actionable recommendations and goals. - Develop and refine affiliate commission strategies based on historical performance, profitability, and client objectives.

- Manage influencer and affiliate campaigns focused on measurable outcomes such as conversions, click-through rates, ROI, and revenue. - Serve as a primary client contact, providing performance updates, strategic insights, recommendations, and proactive communication to support strong client relationships. - Stay current on social commerce trends, platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging opportunities, incorporating relevant developments into client strategies. - Use AI technologies and internal technology platforms to improve workflows, analysis, campaign execution, and overall business performance. - Take ownership of assigned accounts and workflows while collaborating with internal teams to support department objectives and client outcomes. Requirements - 2+ years of experience in social media, social commerce, affiliate marketing, or a related field; agency experience is preferred. - Hands-on experience with TikTok Shop Seller Center and its affiliate management capabilities. - Demonstrated experience managing affiliate or social ambassador programs, with experience in at least one sub-affiliate program; familiarity with Impact is a plus. - Experience setting up and optimizing social commerce shops on platforms such as TikTok and Meta. - Proven experience managing influencer or affiliate campaigns against performance metrics including conversions, GMV, click-through rates, ROI, or similar KPIs. - Experience supporting multiple clients, preferably across different industries, with the adaptability to tailor strategies to varied business objectives. - Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret campaign data, identify trends, develop forecasts, and turn insights into practical optimization strategies. - Strong understanding of current social media trends, platform developments, algorithms, and social commerce practices, with examples of applying this knowledge to improve performance. - Strong client communication and relationship-management skills, including the ability to explain performance clearly and respond confidently to detailed questions.
