Patient Care Technician

Location: Lee Memorial Hospital - 2776 Cleveland Ave Fort Myers FL 33901 Department: Lab - Donor Svs Work Type: Full Time Shift: Shift 1/5:30:00AM to 6:00:00PM / Variable shifts between these hours, with alternating weekends. Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.50 / hour **$1,500 sign on for eligible candidates** Summary Join Lee Health as a Blood Center Technician I and play a vital role in helping save lives throughout our community. In this role, youll work directly with volunteer blood donors, perform phlebotomy and blood collections , and help ensure patients have access to a safe and reliable blood supply. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong phlebotomy skills, is detail-oriented, and is comfortable working in a mobile environment with variable hours between 5:30 AM and 6:00 PM. As part of the Mobile Blood Center team, you will be responsible for driving the blood mobile to community blood drives. A valid drivers license and a good driving record for the past seven years are required. Requirements Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Experience: Minimum of 3 months of phlebotomy experience required. Certification: N/A License: Current valid Florida drivers license. Other: Good communication and interpersonal skills required.
