As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Rounds in Bolingbrook, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. - Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and unloading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while following post orders and site protocols.
- Observe site operations and report unusual activity, damaged property, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations to help support orderly operations at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
