Job Title Beverage Server Department Food & Beverage SOP Supervision Exercised: None; Supervision Received: Assistant F&B Manager / F&B Manager Minimum Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience: Previous restaurant, bar, or hospitality serving experience preferred. Experience with POS systems and cash handling a plus. Skills & Knowledge: Strong customer service and communication skills; ability to carry trays and serve beverages safely and efficiently; knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and basic cocktail preparation preferred; ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment; understanding of responsible alcohol service and age verification laws. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25–30 lbs. Job Duties & Responsibilities Greet guests, take drink orders, and deliver beverages promptly. Provide menu knowledge and make recommendations based on guest preferences. Open tabs, process payments, and handle cash/credit transactions accurately. Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible service guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, tables, and stations. Restock glassware, garnishes, service trays, and beverage supplies as needed. Assist bartenders with preparing garnishes or simple beverage items when required. Handle guest concerns professionally and notify management of issues as needed. Follow all sanitation, safety, and company policies. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
