Performance Test Manager

We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Manager with hands-on experience in performance testing using tools such as JMeter, Postman, or other open-source performance testing tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting performance tests to identify bottlenecks, assess system responsiveness, and ensure application stability under varying load conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform performance testing to identify system bottlenecks, assess responsiveness, and ensure application stability under different loads.
Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases, scripts, and test plans based on project requirements.
Identify and report defects, issues, and risks clearly and concisely.
Collaborate with the development team to reproduce, troubleshoot, and verify fixes for identified issues.
Document test results, track defects, and maintain accurate testing records.
Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in web and performance testing.

Key Skills:

Performance Testing: Expertise in conducting performance, load, and stress testing for applications.
Defect Tracking & Reporting: Ability to identify, document, and report defects/issues clearly and effectively.
Test Case/Script Development: Proficiency in developing detailed test cases, scripts, and plans based on project needs.
Collaboration & Communication: Strong teamwork skills to work closely with development and QA teams.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze performance results, troubleshoot, and provide insights for improvement.
Documentation: Accurate documentation of test results and defect tracking.

Tools & Technologies:

Performance Testing Tools: JMeter, Postman, or other open-source performance testing tools.
Test Management: Experience with test case development and defect tracking tools.
Defect Tracking: Jira, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
Version Control Systems: Git, Bitbucket, or similar tools.
Web Technologies: Understanding of web applications, protocols, APIs, and system architecture.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in performance testing using tools such as JMeter, Postman, or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to document findings clearly.
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends in web and performance testing.
