Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact this school year by teaching students with diverse needs in a supportive environment. Two Special Education teaching opportunities are open in FASE (Life Skills) classrooms, serving students in grades 4 through 6. You'll work onsite alongside a dedicated team, fostering growth and independence in students who benefit from specialized instruction.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid, active Special Education Certification for the state of Texas
• At least one of the following endorsements: Self Contained, Core Subjects, or Generalist—endorsement must match the grades assigned (grades 4-6)
• Experience in a FASE, Life Skills, or similar Special Education classroom preferred
• Strong classroom management skills, patience, adaptability, and collaborative spirit
• Commitment to supporting individualized educational needs and planning for student success
• Willingness to engage with families and school teams for holistic student support

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and supervision to students in Life Skills (FASE) classrooms
• Adapt curriculum and lesson plans to meet individual capabilities and education plans (IEPs)
• Collect data and assess student progress toward goals
• Collaborate closely with general educators, therapists, and support staff
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents and team members about student growth
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, including IEP documentation and progress reports

These full-time positions follow the academic calendar, from early August 2026 to late May 2027, with 37.5-hour work weeks on-site.
