Lope Tech Store - Retail Associate (FWS/NFWS)

Lope Tech Retail Associate
As a Lope Tech Retail Associate you provide front end customer service for Lope Tech.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
- Main location will be Lope Tech but could occasionally be asked to work at other locations. Possess basic knowledge of Apple products (Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods), PC laptops, and technology accessories or demonstrate the ability to quickly learn product knowledge.
- Explain product features, specifications, warranties, and available services in a clear and professional manner.
- Assist customers in selecting technology products based on their academic and personal needs.
- Display proper customer service to all who walk into the store.
- Ensure daily list of staff to-do's is executed.
- Assist in stocking, cleaning, and maintaining Lope Tech.
- Know all aspects of the POS system, including returns and department charges.
- Assist with inventory receiving and transferring.
- Be a team player and continually strive for excellence.
- Stay informed about new technology products, promotions, and Lope Tech offerings through ongoing training.
Equipment Used and Responsibility
- Push carts (used for restocking the floor)
- iPads and iPhones (used for various reasons on a daily basis)
- Handling various keys to the shop
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of Apple products and other tech accessories.
- Superior selling and listening skills.
- Proven leader amongst peers.
- Competitive drive and entrepreneurial confidence to succeed.
- Ability to develop relationships with customers.
- Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
- Strong time-management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience/Education:
Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
- Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program or Master's program.
- Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
- Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
Pay Rate: Minimum Wage Anticipated End Date: June 30, 2027
