IT Engagement Owner – IT Clinical Care-Corp Location: Phoenix, Arizona. Shift: Day (Mon‑Fri 8AM‑5PM). Job Category: Information Technology. This position is responsible for the operational management of IT clinical application support services across multiple locations, providing user‑level support, system implementations, and facility‑initiated projects to ensure quality outcomes and superior service. Core Functions / Responsibilities Direct personnel actions such as recruiting, new‑hire processing, salary determinations, training, and performance evaluations. Manage departmental goals, provide leadership, deliver feedback, and motivate staff. Provide operational leadership in support of clinical applications, integrating best practices and responding to emerging trends. Plan and develop detailed specifications, support staff development, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams for quality improvement. Collaborate with business leaders and senior IT leaders to identify operational requirements, communicate facility goals, and engage stakeholders to address operational needs. Lead the development, implementation, and consistent application of policies, procedures, and practices to comply with laws and regulations. Evaluate opportunities to enhance clinical functionality and operational efficiency. Serve as a subject‑matter expert, facilitate task forces and councils, maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of clinical applications, industry trends, and regulatory standards. Identify staff training needs in computer skills and electronic tools. Provide direction and oversight for IT clinical application support across selected facilities. Act as a key liaison with facility leadership and collaborate with other IT and corporate leaders on strategy, planning, and support functions. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent education and experience. Five or more years of experience in a related area with a minimum of two years of management‑level experience in a healthcare system or large complex corporate environment. Substantial knowledge of information technology and/or clinical informatics in a healthcare setting. Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences. Leadership skills with the ability to recruit, mentor, motivate, evaluate, and retain staff. Variable shifts and hours may be required. Preferred Qualifications IT management experience in a large healthcare environment. Licensed professional with direct patient‑care experience preferred. Experience supporting electronic health record systems, ideally Cerner Millennium. Additional related education or experience preferred.
