Facility: Henry Ford Jackson Hospital
Shift: Nights – 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 hours/week

Job Duties
• Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to develop and deliver effective patient care.
• Provide, delegate, supervise, and document nursing care and patient/family education.
• Effectively communicate patient and family information with the healthcare team.
• Participate in identifying solutions for variances from patient care goals and ensure implementation of appropriate interventions.
• Monitor and manage patients within the Medical ICU setting while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg RN experience required.
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• ACLS certification required (AHA).
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Preferred: Telemetry experience.
• Must be willing to float to an equal or lesser acuity unit if requested.
• English proficiency required (read, write, speak).
