Senior Media Counsel — Investigative Journalism & Compliance
MEDIA LAW RESOURCE CENTER, INC.
The Center for Investigative Reporting seeks an experienced Assistant General Counsel to safeguard fearless investigative journalism amid a complex legal landscape. You will oversee media law, litigation, contracts, nonprofit law, and regulatory compliance, focusing on libel, FOIA, IP, and First Amendment issues.
This role is based in San Francisco, New York, or Washington, D.C., with a high-impact small legal team and collaboration with editorial and business partners across CIR.
