Registered Nurse (RN-III) – Operating Room (Surgery and PACU) / Emergency Department Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays (United States of America) Pay Range: The pay range for this position is listed below. All new graduates are welcome to apply. May be eligible for a $15,000.00 sign‑on bonus. Overview You will be part of a multidisciplinary team built with compassion and the goal of moving health forward for you and our patients. Responsibilities Deliver nursing care by developing nursing diagnoses; establishing care objectives; defining interventions; and providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends to help them understand their conditions, medications, and self‑care skills. Review physician prescriptions, communicate the nursing care plan and pertinent information to other members of the health‑care team, and coordinate with other healthcare providers. Teach healthcare requirements by establishing patient care goals and instructing patients, families, and friends on medication management and self‑care skills. Evaluate patient care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against standards, re‑evaluating care objectives, and modifying the care plan as needed. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy patient care environment by adhering to infection‑control policies, medication administration and storage procedures, controlled substance regulations, and legal regulations. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records and keep patient care supplies ready by checking stock and stocking items. Maintain competence in nursing capabilities as defined by leadership and be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily, including having adequate visual acuity and effective communication skills. Qualifications Required: Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Board of Nursing license in the state of practice; license must be active upon hire.
