Shift Supervisor

Position Summary A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through a focus on excellent customer service. When the manager or Operations Supervisor is absent, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes all opening and closing procedures. Essential Functions Management – Work effectively with store management and store crews, supervise the crew by assigning, directing, and following up on all activities, and communicate information both to and from management and crews. Customer Service – Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints; promote the CVS customer service culture by greeting, offering help, and thanking shoppers; handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy; promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers. Customer/Patient Confidentiality – Maintain confidentiality of all customer and patient information. Merchandise Presentation – Price merchandise, stock shelves, execute displays, signs, and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise; maintain off‑shelf displays; reset departments following Plan of Good (POG) guidelines. Required Qualifications Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills. Advanced communication and supervision skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime, and respond to urgent store issues. Preferred Qualifications Experience as a retail supervisor. Education High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred but Not Required).
