Sheet Metal Worker - Level 3

The annual base salary range for this position is <$60,000 - $75,000> . Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of Honeywell’s manufactured products by delivering expertly crafted sheet metal components that meet engineering specifications and safety requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal parts and products using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to accurately measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal.
• Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain and operate sheet metal equipment safely and efficiently, performing routine maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve fabrication issues and improve manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

YOU MUST HAVE

• Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication, including cutting, bending, and assembling metal components.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications related to sheet metal work.
• Proficiency in operating sheet metal tools and machinery such as shears, brakes, and rollers.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection techniques to ensure product compliance.
• Understanding of safety protocols and best practices in sheet metal fabrication environments.

WE VALUE

• Technical certification or associate degree in sheet metal technology or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in sheet metal work within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes applicable to sheet metal fabrication.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and efficiency.
