Production SupervisorThe Supervisor of microwave power modules is responsible for leading daily manufacturing and test operations within a microwave power modules and RF/microwave production environment. This role supervises technicians engaged in tuning, testing, and troubleshooting complex RF and microwave components and assemblies. The supervisor ensures compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards while driving productivity, yield, and continuous improvement. This position serves as a key liaison between engineering, quality, and operations to ensure on-time delivery of high-reliability products.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily activities of Electronic Power technicians and RF/microwave technicians and assemblers responsible for tuning, testing, troubleshooting, and assembly of microwave power modulesOversee RF, microwave, and environmental testing including thermal, shock, vibration, and environmental stress testingEnsure proper execution of troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving of moderate to complex test and performance issuesEnsure correct and safe use of laboratory and production test equipment including network analyzers, signal analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, function generators, high-power amplifiers, noise meters, power meters, multimeters, bus analyzers, and logic analyzers, as well as precision assemblyEnforce adherence to safety procedures, and company policiesMonitor production schedules, staffing levels, and workflow to meet output, quality, and delivery targets. Track, manage and drive improvement in KPIs (key performance indicators).Review test data, RF performance results, SPC charts, and work-in-process to identify trends, issues, and corrective actionsCollaborate with Process Engineering, RF Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to resolve equipment, process, yield, or test-related issuesConduct employee training, cross-training, performance evaluations, and technical coachingSupport root cause analysis (RCA), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma preferred)Maintain accurate documentation, travelers, test reports, shift reports, and compliance recordsParticipate in internal, customer, and regulatory audits (ISO, AS9100, MIL-STD, or equivalent)Enforce proper use and care of tools, RF test equipment, and materialsQualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, RF/Microwave Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)3–5 years of experience in RF/microwave, microelectronics, or electronics manufacturing, test, and assembly environments1–3 years of prior leadership or supervisory experienceHands-on knowledge of RF/microwave tuning, testing, and troubleshooting from 20 MHz to 40 GHzExperience supervising passive and active RF/microwave assembly operations including wire bonding, wedge-wedge bonding, and ball bondingWorking knowledge of microwave components and assemblies including IMAs, filters, LNAs, amplifiers, mixers, switches, diplexers, and multiplexersExperience performing and overseeing environmental testing (thermal, shock, vibration)Strong understanding of ESD, contamination control, and cleanroom requirementsAbility to read and interpret RF test procedures, assembly travelers, drawings, schematics, and specificationsProficiency with MS Office and manufacturing systems (MES/ERP)Preferred Qualifications Experience supervising and managing Union hourly employeesExperience supervising in a regulated environment (ISO, AS9100, MIL-STD, or similar)Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certificationStrong data analysis and problem-solving skillsExperience with shift-based or high-mix/low-volume production Skills & Competencies Leadership and team developmentClear communication and conflict resolutionTime management and prioritizationAttention to detail and quality focusContinuous improvement mindset Physical & Work Environment Requirements Standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 25 lbs)Use PPE, and safety equipment Stellant Systems is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
