About Us We are a 5 doctor, AAHA-accredited, full-service, small animal (including goats and lambs) hospital, serving the area since 1976. At Brentwood Veterinary Hospital, we pride ourselves on providing a full spectrum of care for our patients. Our team provides wellness & preventative care, urgent care, digital full body & dental radiography, dental prophylaxis, complete in-house laboratory, soft tissue & orthopedic surgeries, laser therapy, and more. We strive to provide an exceptional combination of compassionate staff and leading-edge technology. Role/Responsibilities Licensed Veterinary Technicians play an integral leadership role in our hospital, whether they are handling patient care, caring for clients, assisting doctors during surgery, or providing quality nursing care to hospitalized patients. You will fully utilize your skillset and continue developing your knowledge for years. We are looking for a compassionate technician who is ready to put their skills and leadership ability to work! About You Credentialed veterinary technician You possess clinical skills and experience that include (but are not limited to): Patient assessment and physical examinations Phlebotomy and catheter placement Knowledge of radiology safety and proper technique Routine dental prophylaxis experience Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures Previous veterinary experience is required Passionate about growth and development Positive attitude and TEAM player Exceptional customer service and compassion for all clients and patients Adaptable to the demands of the day Ability to work efficiently and remain calm during stressful situations Schedule Our hospital is open Monday–Thursday 8:00 am–6:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm. Compensation & Benefits We believe that each team member should be compensated based on their knowledge, skills, and experiences. We expect the range for a credentialed technician to be $22-$32 per hour.
