Registered Veterinary Technician

Overview Washington Blvd Animal Hospital is hiring a full‑time Registered Veterinary Technician. Key Responsibilities Follow treatment plans prescribed by the veterinarian. Ensure safe patient handling and restraint. Provide preventive care and administer vaccines. Handle emergency and surgical procedures, including IV catheter placement. Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and staff. Perform in‑hospital laboratory diagnostics (urinalysis, cytology, etc.) and manage lab samples. Administer injections, medications, and nursing care as directed by a veterinarian. Monitor and assist with general anesthesia when required. Maintain accurate, complete digital medical records. Keep the work environment clean and organized.
