About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to serve as the lead administrative officer and provide support to the Board of Directors. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with event planning experience, tasked with bringing new ideas to increase membership, enhancing the organization's website, and developing a strong social media presence. The role involves managing the annual dinner, regional membership events, and scholarship programs, as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations, communications, and financial activities of the organization. The Executive Director will also be responsible for preparing for Board meetings, organizing committee meetings, and working with contractors and vendors to achieve strategic goals. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, strong finance, budgeting, and business systems knowledge, and proven experience in event planning and organizing. Strong technology skills, including experience in social media communications and website maintenance, are essential.
