We are seeking a Dishwasher who takes pride in doing things exceptionally well and understands that a world-class kitchen depends on a strong, disciplined stewarding operation. This role is essential to maintaining the standards that allow our culinary team to perform at its highest level.

The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to maintain a high level of performance in a fast-paced, demanding kitchen environment.

Pay: $18–$22 / hour

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and sanitation for all glassware, tableware, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using both machine and manual cleaning methods.

This role ensures the dishwashing and stewarding areas remain clean, organized, safe, efficient, and fully operational throughout service . The Dishwasher works closely with the culinary and service teams to ensure clean equipment and tableware are always available when needed.

In a Michelin-level environment, cleanliness, organization, timing, and attention to detail are non-negotiable . The Dishwasher plays a critical role in supporting the efficiency and success of the entire restaurant.

• Sort, rinse, and properly load dirty dishes, glassware, tableware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment for machine washing
• Unload, sort, inspect, and properly stack clean items; transport them efficiently to designated storage areas or cooks' lines
• Rewash any items that do not meet established cleanliness standards
• Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and sanitation for all dishware, equipment, and work areas
• Change dish machine water at least hourly and monitor wash and rinse cycle temperatures; immediately notify management of temperatures outside established safety standards
• Wash pots, pans, trays, and other kitchen equipment by hand as required
• Ensure clean equipment and tableware are available to the culinary and service teams throughout service
• Set up and break down the dishwashing and stewarding areas after and after service
• Maintain an organized, efficient workflow during high-volume periods
• Clean, roll, and unroll floor mats as needed
• Fill and empty soak tubs using appropriate cleaning and sanitizing solutions
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors, ensuring surfaces remain clean, dry, and safe
• Assemble and disassemble dish machine components for proper cleaning and sanitation
• Remove trash and garbage to designated dumpster areas and maintain cleanliness around exterior dumpster areas
• Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed
• Immediately address spills, broken glass, and other potential hazards to maintain a safe working environment
• Follow all established food safety, sanitation, chemical handling, and workplace safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the entirety of the shift
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred

• Minimum 1 year of dishwasher, steward, or comparable kitchen experience , preferably in a high-volume, fine-dining, luxury hospitality, or professional culinary environment
• Experience working in a kitchen with high standards for cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and efficiency strongly preferred
• Knowledge and proper practice of sanitation, food safety, and general hygiene standards
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and consistently
• Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain efficiency during high-volume service
• Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and willingness to contribute as part of a professional culinary team

• Exceptional attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail
• Ability to work with speed, consistency, and precision in a demanding kitchen environment
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the culinary team and maintain a steady supply of clean equipment and tableware
• Ability to remain composed and productive during high-volume service
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals, hot water, heavy equipment, and kitchen items
• Ability to lift, reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods
• Strong commitment to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety

The employee must be able to:

Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
