Night Shift RN - Clinical Support Team (Float Pool)

Description Position Title: Full-Time Registered Nurse – Clinical Support Team (Float Pool) Location: Saint Alphonsus Health System, Level II Trauma Center, Boise, ID (Regional Medical Center off I‑184 and Curtis Rd.) Hours: 7:00 pm – 7:30 am, 12‑hour night shift; self‑schedule. Employment Type: Full time. Compensation: Competitive wages, on‑call pay, shift differentials; eligible for sign‑on bonus, relocation assistance, and housing stipend (dependent on location). About the Department RNs in the Clinical Support Team care for patients in general medical/surgical, ortho, neuro, post‑partum, and telemetry. No float to other Saint Alphonsus sites or Boise Critical Care or Emergency Departments. Responsibilities Care for all assigned age groups (neonate, child, adolescent, adult, geriatric). Document services and supplies accurately. Comply with hospital safety policies and procedures. Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments. Educate patients based on assessment needs; develop, implement, and evaluate care plans. Communicate patient status and care plan to other caregivers. Prepare, administer, and evaluate medications. Operate patient care equipment safely. Establish therapeutic and professional boundaries. Integrate knowledge, experience, standards, and policies into practice. Meet unit‑specific technical skills. Operate within rules and regulations of the Idaho State Board of Nursing. Qualifications Licensed Registered Nurse in Idaho. American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider certification at date of hire.
