Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Night Shift Store Manager to oversee store operations during evening to closing hours. This person will be the manager on duty during the night shift, responsible for the store, the staff, and everything that happens while the day manager is off.

Responsibilities

• Managing and supervising all night shift employees, including cashiers, stock associates, and department staff.
• Ensuring shelves are stocked, rotated, and properly maintained throughout the shift
• Closing the store according to established procedures.
• Handling customer concerns and resolving any issues that come up during the shift
• Monitoring cash handling and endofshift register reconciliation.
• Maintaining store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company standards.
• Communicating any incidents, staffing issues, or operational updates to the day manager and HR Stepping in wherever needed to keep the shift running smoothly.
Qualifications
• Proven management experience in retail or grocery stores with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fastpaced setting.
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers.
• Experience with inventory management systems, POS technology, and retail math concepts.
• Knowledge of employee orientation, training & development, payroll, bookkeeping, and cash handling procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage shift schedules effectively.
