Systems Administrator -Senior

Job Description Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will plan and maintain infrastructure environments. What You’ll Be Doing Patching virtual machines, classroom peripherals, and laptops. Active Directory Tree maintenance. Automating routine maintenance of servers to include patching and updates. Using development supporting systems (Kubernetes, Rancher, AWS, Docker). Maintaining and upgrading customer demonstration environments. Delivering custom built demo laptops for conference events. Delivering release media to customers. Required Skills Bachelors Degree in relevant field of study with 6+ years of experience; 10+ years of experience may substitute for degree. VMWare Administration. Linux and Windows OS Administration. Active Directory / LDAP / DNS Administration. Atlassian Suite of Applications. Microsoft Products (Server Administrator, Azure). Ability to work in a hybrid setting, 40% on-site in Colorado Springs and 60% remote. Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, primarily within the Continental United States. Ability to obtain US Government Secret clearance. Desired Skills Scripting (Bash, Ant, Python). Docker, Kubernetes. HBSS/WSUS Administration. Security Clearance Requirement An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.
