Academic Evaluator

Job Description Quantum Education Professionals is seeking full‑time and part‑time school‑based Academic Evaluators in the Kansas City metro area. Pay: $40‑$46 per hour ($54,000‑$62,200 annually). Location: Kansas City, KS. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate and support school psychologists throughout the evaluation process to ensure appropriate communication is established between all team members. Administer relevant academic assessments as needed to provide additional data and understanding of the whole child. Coordinate the evaluation process, including: sending parents appropriate documents in accordance with District Policy and IDEA regarding Notice of Meetings, Consent to Evaluate, etc.; determining meeting dates and times and communicating with all team members to ensure availability prior to sending out the Notice of Meeting; and providing documents such as teacher interview forms, parent interview forms, and rating scale forms when necessary. Minimum Qualifications Knowledge of state and federal policies and regulations related to special education. Experience with a variety of formal and informal student assessment measures regarding academic evaluations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Apps. Effective consultation, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to ensure appropriate flow of information, collaborative efforts, and feedback. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school system staff, students, and parents. Certification and License Requirements Must hold or be eligible for a Kansas Department of Education license with a Special Education endorsement, or a School Psychological Examiner license. #J-18808-Ljbffr Quantum Education Professionals
