This contract position offers the chance to work with K-12 learners, providing essential support in a setting dedicated to students exhibiting severe and aggressive behaviors. Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience working with students exhibiting significant behavioral challenges in educational or clinical settings
- Background in behavioral intervention, de-escalation, and support strategies
- Restraint training (such as CPI) strongly preferred
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and proactive in high-intensity situations
- Familiarity with alternative and supportive education models
- Willingness to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and administrators
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Dedicated, adaptable, and committed to student growth and safety
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct behavioral support to K-12 students throughout the school day
- Implement individualized behavioral interventions and crisis prevention techniques
- Monitor student progress and adapt strategies as needed in collaboration with the team
- Support classroom routines, transitions, and therapeutic plans
- Maintain accurate records of behavioral incidents and interventions
- Foster a safe, structured, and positive atmosphere in line with program goals
This is a contract placement from August 2026 through May 2027, with multiple openings available for the academic year.
