Make a Difference in the Classroom
We're looking for caring, dependable Special Education Paraprofessionals to join a supportive school team for the 2026–2027 school year. In this role, you'll work alongside teachers to help students reach their academic, behavioral, and social goals in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Openings are available in a variety of specialized classrooms, allowing you to find the best fit for your experience and interests.
Classroom Assignments May Include
Life Skills
Autism (SAILS)
Behavior Support Classroom (BSC)
High-Incidence Special Education
Position Responsibilities
Provide instructional and behavioral support to students with special needs.
Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson implementation.
Support students individually and in small groups throughout the school day.
Encourage positive behavior and social-emotional development.
Help students with daily routines and classroom transitions.
Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff to support student success.
Qualifications
Experience working with children or individuals with special needs is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Patience, reliability, and a passion for helping students succeed.
Ability to pass all required background screenings and meet district hiring requirements.
