BAS Controls Technician – $85K–$110K + 10% Bonus – Denver, CO (25% Local / 75% Travel) About the Opportunity: A well-established provider of HVAC, Controls, and Data Center Solutions is seeking an experienced BAS Controls Technician based in the Denver, CO region. This role blends local project work (25%) with extensive travel (up to 75%) to major markets such as Ashburn, VA; Atlanta, GA; New York, NY; Minneapolis, MN; San Diego, CA; and additional nationwide sites. This position is ideal for a technician with solid building automation experience who wants to support mission-critical environments including data centers, healthcare facilities, and government infrastructure while working for a rapidly expanding organization. Position Details: Title: BAS Controls Technician Location: Denver, CO (25% Local Work) Travel: Up to 75% to project locations across major U.S. cities Key Responsibilities: Commission, configure, and troubleshoot Tridium/Niagara controllers Service and support a variety of open and proprietary BAS platforms Execute point-to-point device checkout and verify system functionality Integrate systems using Modbus, BACnet, and TCP/IP communication protocols Install DDC controllers, sensors, relays, and control-related hardware Assemble, wire, and test low-voltage control panels and devices Terminate, label, and maintain low-voltage cabling in an organized manner Calibrate sensors, actuators, and field devices to ensure proper operation Document commissioning activities and submit daily test logs Compensation & Benefits: Base Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 (Experience-Based) Bonus: 10% Annual Incentive Medical/Dental/Vision: Anthem BlueCross Plan Options Additional Coverage: Telemedicine, HSA, and FSA Programs Tech Provided: Company-issued laptop and work phone (or stipend) Travel Reimbursement: Mileage included Retirement: 401(k) Program Time Off: Vacation, Sick Leave, Paid Holidays Ideal Candidate: Direct experience working with building automation or DDC control systems Strong commissioning, troubleshooting, and integration capabilities Comfortable taking on both local and extended travel assignments Effective communicator capable of interfacing with field, engineering, and project teams About the Company: 30+ years of experience in HVAC, energy, and building technology solutions 300+ employees across more than 15 U.S. office locations Industries Served: Class A Commercial, Data Centers, Healthcare, Municipal, Education Service Offerings: HVAC Retrofits, BAS/Controls, Data Center Optimization, Lighting Controls, Facility Asset Management, and Project Financing Why Apply?
