Position Information Classification Title Student Assistant FLSA Non-Exempt UGA Job Code FTE .50 Minimum Qualifications Position Summary Must be able to work independently, have excellent problem-solving skills, and good interpersonal and customer service skills. Duties will include data entry, providing reception and phone coverage,providing duplicates, handling fax and email communications. Helping staff with mailings, event planning, room set-up and clean-up, and other duties as needed. Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position High School Diploma. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Good organizational skills; ability to work in a team and get along with others; basic computer skills, physical strength to move tables, chairs and about 50 pounds of weight, detail oriented and a self-starter, ability to work independently at times, ability to keep a log and manage inventory and energetic, trustworthy and dependable; driver's license (with a good driving record) to drive a University vehicle on campus, locally, and regionally if needed.
