Nurse Practitioner - Outpatient Lead PMHNP (Day Shift Only | Benefits | No Nights or Weekends)

A new outpatient addiction and mental health practice in Palm Beach County needs a Lead PMHNP to anchor the clinical floor — full-time, on-site, W-2, Monday–Friday. You'll be the primary prescriber running the day alongside a board-certified psychiatrist Medical Director, managing psychiatric medication, MAT (Suboxone/buprenorphine), and interventional psychiatry including Spravato under REMS and TMS. High-acuity, underserved, and substance use populations from day one. Physician backup always available. Bilingual Spanish or Haitian Creole a genuine advantage. Key Responsibilities Conduct new psychiatric evaluations, MAT follow-ups, and ongoing medication management Provide MAT using Suboxone and buprenorphine for patients with substance use disorders Become Spravato (esketamine) REMS certified within 60 days of start (supported by practice) Work a tandem clinical day alongside Medical Director weekly on complex charts and new evaluations Manage daily visit volume ramping over time — set collaboratively with Medical Director Complete clinical notes within 48–72 hours of each encounter Partner with Medical Director on complex bipolar, trauma, and treatment-resistant cases Lead morning huddle with MA and reception team to set daily clinical priorities Qualifications Active DEA registration (required) PMHNP certification strongly preferred | Primary care experience a plus 1–5 years of experience; comfortable with high-acuity, underserved, and substance use populations Hospital and PHP exposure preferred over new graduate Spanish or Haitian Creole language skills a strong plus Prior exposure to Spravato or TMS a plus MSN or DNP from accredited program required Schedule & Compensation Full-time | Five 8-hour shifts | Monday–Friday | On-site 401(k) | Malpractice covered Immediate hire #J-18808-Ljbffr NPHire
