Registered Nurse - Advanced Acute Care Medical Surgical Unit

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse providing direct patient care in a clinical environment, assessing needs, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating intervention outcomes. Responsibilities include: Conducting assessments and addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families. Formulating, coordinating, and executing individualized care plans, including patient and family education, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Providing treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures in accordance with policies. Evaluating the effectiveness of nursing interventions and revising care plans accordingly. Collaborating with physicians and team members to resolve patient needs and troubleshoot equipment issues. Participating in evidence-based practice decisions, quality, and safety initiatives, and unit activities to enhance care quality. Qualifications & Skills: Graduation from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required), Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred). Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing patient needs. Additional Details: Work involves shifts from 7a-7:30p, with requirements for every other weekend and holiday work.
