About the Role

We're looking for a Data Analyst, Intern to bring rigor and structure to how we track performance, model growth, and make commercial decisions. This is a startup-style, high-ownership role, you'll work directly with leadership to build the reporting and analytical infrastructure a fast-growing distributor needs, without the layers of a larger organization. You'll turn sales, account, and operational data into models and dashboards that directly inform strategy. This role is an internship position for up to 6 months.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain financial and operational models (revenue forecasting, account growth, margin analysis, territory/rep performance)
• Design and maintain dashboards and recurring reports tracking sales pipeline, KPI attainment, and account health
• Analyze CRM and sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities across business accounts
• Support pricing, vendor, and contract analysis with data-driven recommendations
• Partner with commercial leadership to translate business questions into analyses and clear, actionable output
• Clean, structure, and maintain data across CRM, ERP, and spreadsheet-based systems
• Support ad hoc analysis for new business pursuits, RFPs, and board/leadership reporting

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Business, Data Science, or a similar quantitative field
• Experience in a startup or small-company environment, or in business/financial analysis, building models, forecasts, or reporting from the ground up
• Strong Excel/spreadsheet modeling skills; SQL or other data-querying experience a plus
• Comfortable working with imperfect or unstructured data and turning it into something usable
• Clear communicator who can present analysis to non-technical stakeholders
• Self-starter who's comfortable in a small-team, fast-paced environment with high ownership
