We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our affordable housing communities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Property Management principles, including budgeting, financial statement analysis, and resident relations. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of managing a team and ensuring the efficient and compliant operation of the properties, including project based section 8 and low-income housing tax credit programs.
Responsibilities:- Oversee all aspects of property operations, including property inspections and maintenance.
- Manage and maintain accurate financial statements, including budgeting and expense control.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations related to affordable housing, including low-income housing tax credit and project based section 8 programs.
- Supervise and train on-site staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Handle resident relations, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Manage rent collections and collections processes, ensuring timely payments.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including variance analysis.
- Utilize Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel, for reporting and data analysis.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address operational challenges.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and resident satisfaction.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Property Management principles.
- General knowledge of affordable housing programs, including low-income housing tax credit and project based section 8.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and analyze financial statements.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Experience with RealPage OneSite.
- Experience with affordable housing communities.
- Familiarity with property recertification processes.
- 3-5 years of experience in property management.
