Slalom Flex (Project Based)- Workday HCM Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced HRIS Program Manager with deep Workday HCM expertise to support enterprise‑scale HR technology initiatives. This role partners closely with People teams, HRIS stakeholders, and cross‑functional technical teams to provide strategic guidance, ensure alignment across workstreams, and drive successful delivery of Workday HCM programs. The ideal candidate brings a strong functional understanding of Workday HCM , proven program leadership experience, and the ability to operate effectively at both the strategic and execution levels. Key Responsibilities Provide senior‑level advisory support on Workday HCM functionality, HR business processes, and industry best practices. Partner with HR and IT stakeholders to guide Workday solution design decisions and ensure alignment with business needs. Oversee and review Workday configuration approaches, providing quality assurance and functional oversight to implementation teams. Lead and facilitate cross‑functional discussions, helping teams move from tactical problem‑solving to strategic decision‑making. Collaborate with People Operations, Recruiting, HRIS, IT, and business process teams to support end‑to‑end HCM initiatives. Support requirements validation, testing coordination, issue triage, and continuous process improvement related to Workday implementations and enhancements. Identify risks, dependencies, and downstream impacts across HR functions and proactively drive resolution. Lead assigned workstreams while contributing to overall program planning, governance, and execution. Comfortable supporting global teams, including occasional participation in early morning meetings aligned to UK time zones. Qualifications Strong functional knowledge of Workday HCM , including business process frameworks and security implications. Experience overseeing configuration is preferred; hands‑on configuration is not required. Proven ability to provide guidance and quality oversight to Workday implementation teams and consulting partners. Demonstrated program and project management experience, with excellent organizational, communication, and facilitation skills. Ability to balance detailed execution work with broader strategic program leadership. Self‑starter who can operate independently in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment. For this position, the base salary pay range is $90/hr to $100/hr. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
